Mom had night shifts so dad had to entertain the kids this weekend.
For all people in or around The Hague, if you want your kids to have a good taste of the nature known to the Dutch coastal area you have to go to Meijendel. It’s just a 10 minute drive from The Hague centre but you end up straight into the dunes. Yes, the dunes that keep the Netherlands being a country instead of a new age Atlantis.
It has lots of little nature walks, but most fun for the kids are the playground and the ‘play’ wood.
After all the playing at the multiple playgrounds, kids and parents can enjoy coffee and a pancake at the ‘pannenkoekenhuis‘. The kids play corner is a perfect little area where parents can actually enjoy their drinks and food and still keep an eye on the little ones.
